Meet Tony Farley
Tony founded Central Building in 2013 and brings over 18 years of building and project management experience across New Zealand and overseas. His background includes working in Central Otago, Queenstown, Wanaka, and Tauranga before settling in Mangawhai with his family.
Tony began his career with a four-year apprenticeship and went on to work in the superyacht industry—developing a strong eye for detail and craftsmanship that now carries through every project.
As a Licensed Building Practitioner and member of the NZCB, Tony is committed to delivering high standards of workmanship and professionalism on every build.
He works directly with clients to understand their vision, ensuring the process is collaborative, transparent, and as stress-free as possible.
A Licensed Building Practioner and a member of the NZCB, you'll have confidence in building with Tony from Central Building Ltd.
LBPs are building practitioners who have been assessed as competent to carry out building work essential to the structure or weathertightness of residential buildings.
NZCB is the only builder association in New Zealand with strict entry criteria where the minimum entry requirement for all members is a recognised industry trade qualification.
